Simple Kalamata Olive Relish
This simple, easy to put together relish is not just for hot dogs. Use it on burgers, sandwiches, or crackers!
Servings: 1 cup
- 1/2 cup pitted Kalamata olives
- 1 tablespoon jarred nonpareil capers drained
- 2 tablespoons shallots
- 1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 pinch Italian seasoning
- 1 pinch red pepper flake
Pulse all of the ingredients in a food processor until well combined, but still slightly chunky. Be sure not to let it get too smooth; we aren't making tapenade!
Liberally top your hot dog with relish and whatever other toppings you prefer!
